I dont think you can say there is a right way to post production. This is my style.

If you went to Joey L. or David hill and told them they are doing it wrong they would probably laugh in your face.

I love this surreal look. It is who I am. I could easily blend the layers and make everything look natural. I could dive deep into the curves and tones and bring down the contrast in this image but it is not what I want.
