What Effect is this

    Hey dudes and Dudettes!

    Wanted to know what effect this is . And how would you go about getting this effect through Photoshop, I almost got it in photoshop by using a High Pass Filter Effect but he color Became all messed up and "greyish"

    Any Help?

    I think it's high pass, but you have to duplicate the layer, add the high pass filter on the duplicate layer, set the layer to "overlay" or possibly one of the other possible selections, then adjust the opacity of that layer.

    Play with it a little in this manner and see what kind of results you get.

    A horrid one that's what. Mess with the blending modes if your image is becoming desaturated, maybe presaturate it too. But this is definitely the result of some sharpening tool

    I'm not really a fan of it... it reminds me too much of the "HDRs" everyone is doing now that aren't even HDR.

    I think it works. Subject is attractive and she's sitting in front of magazine talking about the 100 most beautiful.

    I get aspiring model out of it. maybe her perception she can be model is put down so it adds a little fantasy look...Hmm call me crazy. I like it.
