I'm curious what hardware everyone is using for their editing...

Computer, monitor(s), tablet, color calibration, etc.

Thanks!

Windows machines with Asus and Samsung monitors, calibrated with a Colormunki. Sometimes I use an Intuos tablet for retouching.

Quad-processor AMD FX-4350 slightly overclocked to 4.9ghz (with AMD stock CPU cooler), 16gb PC-2133 RAM(for overclocking), dirt-cheap fanless video card (I don't do gaming, and the difference between 1/2 second and 1/3 second to bring up an image is not noticeable),17" LCD monitor about 5-6 years old, calibrated with Colormunki, 128gb Samsung SSD for Windows and 'actively in process' photo editing.

Waiting for that new iMac, mmm mmm mmmmmmmmm

27" iMac, Aperture 3, color calibration by me.

2010 iMac with an i3 and 4 GB RAM. It handles fairly large files in PS CS5 with no trouble and hardly ever any noticeable delay.

Well my workstation is a liquid cooled I7-4770k with 32 gig of Ram that boots off a 256 gig SSD drive. It's a custom build I put together a while ago. I use a 40" TV as a monitor, works fairly well overall.
