What is it???

From a recent batch of 193 pics taken at a running event I have noticed that at one location there is a black car toward the top of the frame and when the images are viewed both in camera raw and as tifs there is a large area of speckled noise on the car which moves around as you pan the picture. When converted to black and white the noise has gone with no trace left behind. It looks strange in that it moves/shimmers when the image is panned round...................????????????????????

I am now seeing it on images that it was not on yesterday and I have done nothing too them - very strange.

I started panicking then as it appeared on loads of shots unaffected before. I closed down the graphics app and started again but still there. Just re-booted PC and looked at pics again in Camera RAW and now OK so I can only pressume the graphics card got confused..........anyone experienced this before?
