what kind of printers do you have?

I have an mpix.com account for a printer.

I've got an Epson R1800 and I love it. It only goes to 13" wide, but it works for 95% of my pictures

CANON
I have a Canon iP6600D that is awesome. It cost me about $130 (ink included) over a year ago. People are always asking if my photos are professionally printed... It can be a little pricey with ink and photo paper... seems Canon got their printer to only work good on their paper... great marketing skills...

HP 7360 ($100) and HP 7460 ($150)

They do well for the money. As long as I use HP glossy paper with the printers, people think they were printed professionally.

Another vote from me for the very fine Epson Stylus R1800 wide format printer. I rotate buying inkjet cartridges too, and keep a few of the most commonly used one on hand. They never run out at the same time.

I believe you can get an R1800 for about $550 in the U.S.

If I need prints larger than 13x19, I have mpix.com do it.

Another satisfied R1800 user here. Color management is essential regardless of printer. Calibrate your monitor and user proper paper profiles.

2nd to monitor calibration... I love my Huey calibrator.
