I'm looking into buying a softbox for beach photography and possibly some single studio portrait shots. I came across this video on youtube and I really like this softbox, but I'm not sure what it's called or where to get it, does anyone know?

Will this work well for what I'm looking to do with it? Thanks.

    Thats a really small softbox.

In studio you would only be able to use it for head shots and small heads at that.

It could be a Westcott Mini Apollo.

There are several brands to choose from.

Search EBAY for "speedlight softbox" and you will see plenty of them. Several places make them and they all seem to be around 15x15 or 16x16 in size. I saw one at alzodigital.com also.

There are more expensive alternatives from lastolite and even a very cool one from Westcott called the apollo. It's just quite a bit larger and built on a umbrealla frame.

For now, try out one of the cheaper ones from alzo or ebay. See if you like the results.
