Hi all,
I currently have a Pentax k500 which doesn't have mic input so I will be upgrading to a K5iis.
I am looking at getting a mic for it soon and have been researching into Lavalier vs Shotgun.
I will be using the mic to interview people and give that voiceover effect In settings from indoor to events in public places.
I don't want to get the wireless lavaliers because they can be quite pricey so have been looking at getting a plug in Lavalier mic which would need to be at most 5 metres long (would this cause any audio sync errors?). Although some have condensers and some don't mention that so I'm a tad confused.
Alternatively I can go with a Shotgun mic.
What would your preference be, any feedback will truly be appreciated regardless of how big or small?
Thanks in advance
