Refurbished Canon 7D had sensor spot and mode dial/power toggle was jammed (works with effort).
Sent in to Canon for repair. They want almost $400. I have committed to getting 7D Markii but not sure I should pay for the repair. While the 7D still works it is doing so with limited capacity.

Are they replacing the image sensor, or just cleaning it (which is something you can do)?

Not sure of actuations. I've put on approx 5000 but gotnit refurbished. They will clean but also fix the mode dial and power toggle which are very tight and barely move except with force. They said it looks likes a liquid got spilled on it including the hot shoe (never happened but that's what the estimate says).
