Ok so I saw a photo op and my mum has taken the car with my tripod still in it from the other day so I ad-lib'd heres the result...

As much as I hate the saying ... 1 week Ticket to the mountains to go skiing, $700, 1 monfrotto tripod $320, someone snapping a photo of you getting into a 4wd, parking it at the other side of the parking lot so you could use it as a tripod without shooting into the sun because your own tripod hadn't arrived at the meeting point yet ... lol

1 old tube sock w/o holes, a 1 pound bag of dried pinto beans and a couple of safety pins to close up the sock will do wonders when you are without a tripod!

in my camera bag, i have a mini tripod... so even if i forget my main tripod, i still can use my little fella

it extends to about 2 feet
