Whats wrong with this picture?

I hope this is the right place to put this....

I took this picture of a horse this afternoon and I was woundering if someone could tell me what is wrong with it, I just looks a bit weird. It was raining earlier on in the day so the grass was wet and its very over cast.

The biggest thing I would recommend would be to fill the frame more completely with the horse. As it is now, this is a picture of a field... with horse in it (and a blown out sky on top-- seemed like you knew this was a problem when you mentioned it). I'd either re-shoot getting much closer to the horse, or possibly just crop this in real tight.... but if this is nearby, a re-shoot will probably yield better results.

I wont be able to go re-shoot it now but I will try again tomorrow. I did crop it so it was just the horse.

Its very grainy, so I might go try again

I agree, just re-shoot. The main problem was the picture was taken too far away, and the crop just made it too grainy.
