wheres the best place...

    hi gang

    im trying to locate a great place to take photos in the northern nj /ny area..
    is there a place suitable for this here? thanks

    It depends on the type of photos you want.

    In Hackettstown there's Steven's State Park, I think the Muskegnetcong (spelling?) runs through it. Around Clinton there's a couple of nice places; There's a water run mill (I think) in the center of town. The Delaware Water gap around Route 80. NYC skyline from the NJ side. Up a little further is Bear Mountain in NY state. Getting there you will pass the Palisades and the Hudson River.

    Over in PA around the Newton, NJ area is a beautiful park, Childs state park - has waterfalls. In Stousburg, PA (I don't believe it's too far from Newton) is a Railroad Museum, if you're into that.

    Coney Island is kind of still there. May not have all it's glory as it was in the 40's but they keep it somewhat operational... They still have the hot dog eating contest there!
