which canon digital?

    im currently shooting film right now and am looking to move into the digital world. i shoot a canon Elan 7E and want a digital that can use the same lenses as my film camera. i don't know exactly what to look for. any help?

    Sounds like you want someone to write you a book.:lol:

    All Canon cameras made since 1987 have had the same EF mount. Your EOS 33 came out mid-2000 so you're good to go.

    Visit www.canonusa.com and start looking at specs. When you run into a term you don't understand check wikipedia or google.

    All of them can use the lenses you already have.

    Any specific features you're looking for? Budget?

    Depends what you're looking for. The Rebel XS or XSi will do most of everything with image quality if you have a good lens arsenal. Then again, you might need a rugged body or a full frame sensor, or 10 frames per second, see what the grasp is? Depends for everyone. Good luck, I'm happy with my Canon :)
