Hey, im new to photography. I went yard sellin the other day, found a canon rebel xsN film camera, bought it with a 35 to 55mm lens and 85 to 200 mm lens for $75. Ive been wanting to get in to photography for a while now, so i had to buy this to get started. So, i want an inexpensive dslr camera, i would prefer it to have video too, i was looking at the Nikon D3000, but no video:(
so then i looked at the Pentax KX, it has video and seems to be a good dslr?

So, does anyone have any other suggestions? But im leaning on buying the pentax kx

Thanks in advanced! Oh and im on my ipod touch right now, so if theres any typing errors, my bad!

The Nikon D90 shoots video. It's 12.3 mp. But with a kit lens it costs around $1,000.00. I dunno what your idea of inexpensive is.

In the same boat as you TRD. Looking for my first DLSR too. You might want to look at the D5000 as it shoots video too and is a lot less then the D90.
