- Can others edit my Photos
- Photos OK to edit
I'm not really interested in a Mac, and I need a new computer. I have a laptop, and it's mostly general usage, but I'm doing more and more photo editing. I'm thinking of switching over to a desktop. Ideally, I want one of the small or slim ones, but I could live with a fullsize tower.
Is it worth popping for the Core 2 Quad, or will the Core 2 Duo work fine? I can do the Duo with more RAM and a Graphics card, but if I get the Quad, I'll probably be adding the graphics card later.
I've had good luck with Dell in the past, and I'm thinking about buying something from their outlet.
I also checked out the website from Magic Micro, but I've heard mixed reviews.
I looked at some of the deals on NewEgg too on some no-name PCs, but that might be more trouble than it's worth.
And I know that I get what I pay for, but I'm not using it in a professional capacity, so I'd rather save the scratch.
