Which striped tie seems most attractive?

I'm trying to shop around for a silk tie for a friend's birthday gift. I don't know how else to describe his style but with the term "preppy conservative," if that makes any sense. :mrgreen: Which striped tie looks the best, in terms of color/pattern, or are they all equally bleh?

Avoid the pinky tie
aside from that one the others should be fine - myself I prefer the look of the last. The 3rd is perhaps a little bit like an old school tie (to my eyes)
