White tail deer

    Wow, Great shot!
    Deers are hard to find and shoot, I'm guessing you don't live anywhere near the city. How close were you to take this shot?

    I live on an acreage about twelve miles from the city.

    Deer are a common sight but they seem to have a knack to appear deeper in the bush or at the wrong time of the day, sigh...

    I would guess I was 50' away. Focal length of 200mm with Olympus's 2x crop factor puts it at 400mm in 35mm equivalent.

    ~25% crop.
