White-tailed deer

Always nice to get something other than birds. Don't get to many chances. I was walking a long the river and stopped for a few minutes to look something up on my phone. I raise my head and found three deer within about 15-20 feet of me. Had to rush and change out my 300mm lens to something shorter. Couldn't get good position on them, some harsh light and shadows from among the trees.

3. Sucks about the branch. Not sure if I'm good enough in PS to remove it. Will have to give it try.

Good call. Been meaning to go there. I'm only 15 minutes away. Haven't been there for over 20 years.

I difference in latitude is really showing up, ours here have already gone through molt. Guess that would be right though as we don't normally see rut till January.
