    Looks like a conversion lens out front & you did not zoom.

    Paper Towel roll? or something to that sort? Seems to me thats how that would come about...but i could be wrong ;)

    Hmm it would have to be a long roll to get that effect - I'm thinking something like the pinhole (or probably larger) placed infront of the lens - which caused the massive vignett as well as acting strange on the main subject.

    PS there is no way that is a crop sensor lens on a fullframe camera body - far far too much black ;)

    edit yay sort of right it looks like a long roll ;)

    Figured it could be just the way it was framed. If you cut off all that black, that is exactly what it looks like.

    I've wanted to try a shot like that with an eye looking into the tube.
