Tant is a cool looking shot, Mind explaining what you did?
Looks like a conversion lens out front & you did not zoom.
Crop sensor (EF-S) lens on FF camera?
Paper Towel roll? or something to that sort? Seems to me thats how that would come about...but i could be wrong
Thats what I was thinking.
24 inch cardboard tube held up to the front of a 12-24 mm.
Hmm it would have to be a long roll to get that effect - I'm thinking something like the pinhole (or probably larger) placed infront of the lens - which caused the massive vignett as well as acting strange on the main subject.
PS there is no way that is a crop sensor lens on a fullframe camera body - far far too much black
edit yay sort of right it looks like a long roll
Figured it could be just the way it was framed. If you cut off all that black, that is exactly what it looks like.
ah hehe i was gonna say wide angle through a tube but you guys beat me to it!
I've wanted to try a shot like that with an eye looking into the tube.
