Why did...

Pigs. :x Helen Keller was a hero of mine growing up. Okay so maybe that's strange, but I did have to do a report on her life and read all about overcoming those physical disabilities, and thought it was an amazing feat - particularly during the time she grew up in.

So pick on some other unfortunate person to make fun of.

Pigs. :pig:

"The Truth be told, Helen Keller was a radical socialist. She joined the Socialist party of Massachusetts in 1909. She joined the Socialist party before she graduated from Radcliffe. After the Russian Revolution, she sang the praises of the new communist nation....
At the time Keller became a socialist, she was one of the most famous women on the planet. She soon became the most notorius."

Yes she did, and so do alot of people. But alot of peoples lives don't take that sort of turn.

The overcomming her disabilities, when you look at her entire lifespan, was a small portion of her life.

I just find it odd how history is re-written, when at that time not many looked up to her.
