wide angle lens issues... help please

ok so i just got Merkury Optics High Definition .45x Wide Angle Lens (adapter that screws onto 58mm lenses like a filter would) and i need some questions answered if you please?

Today i tried to use it on my 75-300mm for a landscape shot but the shots just came out blurred. same thing when i switched it over to my 18-55mm as well as my 50mm. this didnt happen when i tried it out indoors.

Is this lens not for landscape shots?

Is this just a cheap brand of lens?

Does the macro fitting affect the focus range of the lens its attached to?
(now that i type that out it makes sense that it would but i dont know)

Thats a cheap crappy screw on "lens" or "adapter". Its made to augment the picture entering the lens and makes for a HUGE drop in image quality.

Did you try manual focus?

Unfortunately when it comes to lenses you get what yo pay for

MF didnt work on the 75-300 but it did on the others...

i guess i'll have to hurt the wallet to make myself happy...

The Tokina 11 - 16mm is a constant f2.8 aperture.

I am not sure why you would put a wide adapter on a 75-300 when you already have an 18-55. I mean a wide lens is a wide lens and a zoom is for zooming.
