wide zoom lense

    hi,
    i am looking for a good lense for shooting things like events and museams(prolly spelled wrong). i am considering gettin an ultra wide zoom or a wide angle canon lense. im shooting with a canon EOS 30D

    Events and museums to me doesn't make me think wide angle, or at least, not super wide angle. I think you may want something like the 17-85, or 28-105.

    "Digital Matt" is right on the button, but let me tell you, for effect, have a go at the 10-22 the "Reverend" suggests. I use a 10.5 on a Nikon D100 and the effect can be be mind boggling.
