I am looking at something like this
[ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00011X0X2/ref=s9subs_c1_114_at1-rfc_g1_si1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=17HMSDFKHZ7V5KADF9SD&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=463383351&pf_rd_i=507846]Amazon.com: Manfrotto 728B Digi Compact Tripod with Integrated 3-Way Head and Carrying Bag (Black): Camera & Photo[/ame]

Also if I want to move the position do I just move the camera?
I'm used to having one with a pan handle..
Is it better to have a pan handle?

    Help...
I know I need to go into a store but that just isn't an option.. well I'm going into one today but it's just a film processing place i'm not sure what if any tripods they will have hopefully some so I can see..

Yes, with a 3-way head, the top platform (where the camera sits) flips 90 degrees to move the camera from landscape to portrait orientation.
