I like no. 4 the best, but think it would look better with more contrast like no. 5

I think using a picture to get the date is a great way of inviting someone. It's nice, and even thoughtful. That doesn't come across as trickery to me, that comes across as simply making a nice invitation. I say go for it.

ok lots to answer here

so i was still thinkin on how to set up the invitation whether to put the text on the photo or something like that.

the "sand" was really the only thing that could frame the photo nothing else really

and i can see where contrast would need to be bumped in some of them, although i wanted for the first 3, to have a soft effect nothing too harsh.

and composition wise, that seems to be my hardest thing to improve on so ill keep that in mind next time im shooting.
