Took these in my back yard while my kids were sledding

Not really seeing a lot to critique; these seem rather like snapshots intended just to capture a moment. They're nice keepsake images but that's about it.

They all seem to suffer from underexposure of varying degrees. When shooting in snow, a fill flash is almost always needed.

I agree with this as well. They also seem underexposed slightly.

a bright snowy scene tricks your camera's meter to underexpose.....it happens on a bright beach as well....next time just over expose a stop or two....

:thumbup: They all scream snapshots to me but Pinks crop helps to eliminate it somewhat. On the other hand, my kids would kill for your backyard lol. Too much flat prairies here.
