I really like your eye and subjects but, and this is strictly a personal thing, I like traditional high contrast black and white, with toning reserved for particular subjects. Like I said, just a personal thing, All in all... very nice photo.

I really like the calmness and mood of the image and I think the toning works for this. My only drawback is that I would to see the snow (highlights) a little brighter.

The picture is pretty strong in the foreground, but deteriorates with halo-ing and loss of sharpness towards the back. The eye naturally travels there.

I agree with the toning comment, this would probably look better dressed in a nice BW conversion.
