Ok I had a little trouble with cloning in this one because of the amazing color contrast etc and getting it right was crucial for me. I adjusted the levels and curves in photoshop and did a warming filter on it. This is my first real "into the sun" shot and I want to know if I am doing this right or if there is a better way to do it, etc. Any and all suggestions and critiques are welcome. Also does the composition work for you? Is the DOF and focus ok?

Oh and photbucket is totally borked for me so I have to link you to DA, PLEASE CLICK.

:thumbup:Nice work! I would like to see the original to better appreciate what your efforts were to achieve your end result. Your compostion is excellent as well as DOF. The image certainly conveys desolateness of winter yet warmth. True irony! Couldn't help myself with the lens flare thing as noted on your DA site; oops!

Thanks Dave, any suggestions on fixing the flare? Can it even be fixed?
