Winter Waterfall

    Took these today. First photos from the new camera. Quite a bit to get use to.

    There was a fair bit of mist in this picture, slight rainbow visible. Boy it was cold today. Brrrrr still shivering. My own critique in this shot is the dark ground in the bottom left corner creates a bit of a distraction. Wasn't able to crop it out very well. There was a small trickle of warmer water that melted the snow in its path.

    Nice shots. Complex compositions, good exposure.

    I say it looks pretty good. If the dark area bothers you, you could try to clone it out using the snowbank.
