Wireless Remote for D700

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
    whats a good wireless remote for D700. i dont mind sticking something in the 10 Pin socket, but not on the hot shoe.

    I have one made by Phottix, I think it's called the Cleon II - works incredibly well and has very good range.

    You can get cheap radio remotes ($30) from sites like E-bay and Gadget Infinity.

    They may not be made to the same specs as a Nikon brand remote, but hey, they are dirt cheap.

    and you get what you pay for. Plugging a 3rd party gizmo into your camera body will also effect your warranty, if you still have any.

    A Nikon MC-30, 10-pin wired remote runs about $70. Nikon's wireless for the D700 has the receiver up on the hot shoe with a cord to the 10-pin connector, so.....
