    ^^ Well, I always known the thing on the end of the string that makes them ding to be called a paddle.

    Maybe it's higher up, so even the short tubes chime? If the what you say IS called a paddle is as low as the knot, the shorter tubes wouldn't even be touched! ;)

    I like the BACKGROUND colour. Would you have guessed????

    Yes, typically, there is a wooden "ball" (out of frame) that is tied onto the string which strikes the tubes. But the wind moves the paddle, which in turn, moves the wooden ball.

    errrrrr........ uh, it's in the mail dude...... yeah, sure.... of course it it.....
