    a SB-600. Should be here in 5-9 days.

    Ok, so it's not that big of a deal. :)

    Time to start looking for some tips.

    Aim the flash head straight up to bounce it off the ceiling.

    a few folds of (white) toilet paper held infront of the falsh ( with some elastic bands - which should be placed so that they go around the head and don't cover the flash element) makes for a very cheap diffuser.
    Coloured toilet paper can make for some - interesting results....

    I think you'll find that it actually is a big deal. I just got one last week and love it. I used to rarely shoot indoors and now I love it. Really changed a lot for me with my photography.

    It was like night and day once I got my SB-600. I'm sure you will love it!

    I remembered when I ordered mine. When taking pictures of people, it makes a huge difference.

    It becomes a HUGE deal when you learn to use it off camera with the Nikon CLS system. Then, as already mentioned you will want more. <LOL>
