I think your white balance is a little off, looks very blue.

I think a shot like this really needs some better lighting conditions, try hitting up the same spot in dawn or dusk just as the light gets golden, should really set off the scene and give you some strong shadows.

I agree with Wozza, it does look blue. And, I agree with Wozza, the lighting conditions are rather boring. Another thing to consider with wooded shots is to try out black and white, if you can get some interesting lighting and strong contrast, it's not THAT hard to make trees interesting. I've been trying to make woods look interesting too, and it's damn hard.
