    I'm so happy! I upgraded from 512 MB to 2 GB RAM! I can do actually do photoshop now lol! Hooray!! :p :hug::

    i know what you mean, i went from 1GB to 2GB recently and there was a huge difference. CS2 still recommends 4GB though. :/

    how can u get 4gb of ram jesus...... that is expensive as all get out

    RAM is cheap nowadays compared to what it used to be.

    If you're running a 64-bit OS, than you're good to go with 4GB

    Vista only uses 3GB - is that true?

    we have a old crappy cpu at school that we put vista on and it only has 512 of ram and granted its not the quickest but with no other software on there it is not bad

    the 32-bit version of Vista can only support up to 3GB, just like any other 32-bit system. in a 64-bit OS, you can have something like 3.2 TB (i think).

    Vista comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors (i don't know why they just didn't stick with 64-bit)
