working farm

I took the kids to a nearby working dairy farm that is open to the public.

all those animals and they wanted to milk a wooden cow

here's a real one :wink:

and they also had a hawk display.

and a clay eeyore to paint and take home.

thanks everyone, and jeff if it were milk i think you would find my two under it with there mouth open

it's just a tank inside it filled with water.

Of these, I really like the last one in which your two are sooo intent on what they are doing, Dalebe. Looks like a very nice experience on that farm!

And will I meet you in Saffron Walden on 20 August then, dalebe? Will you make it there?

thanks lafoto, i would have so loved to be there on 20th, but i did explain in a previous thread way way back (perhaps you just missed it) :wink:

Ha the first picture is funny, I have seen parents spend all kinds of money on toys, then the kids end up haveing more fun playing with the boxes, who knows what will interest a child. Nice shots, the kids in the last to seem to be highly focused
