worth it or not?

ok I was looking at these 2 lens:

Canon Elan IIE Promaster lens 28-105MM


AND


Canon 100-300MM zoom lens

can you guys give me a review if i shud purchase this lens or not....the price for both is $140.

also both these lens were bought new in 1999 and are in great condition..barely used

Not sure which lenses those are...and are those used prices?

There are at least 2 versions of the Canon EF 28-105mm lens. The current model is the Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM and it goes for around $230 new.

If that's the Canon EF 100-300 f/4.5-5.6 USM lens, that one usually goes for arount $295 new.

Never even heard of Promaster before. Checked out the web site and the stuff looks really cheap. I'd pass on that lens.

ya i think ill jus get the canon ef 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 usm lens...thanks for ur help. i looked at promaster and it seems like there **** is hella cheap and looks like it sucks
