I'm looking to purchase my first tripod. I have around 150$ to spend, but I'm trying to find the cheapest possible.

I want a complete tripod. Ball head + legs.

I would prefer it to be magnesium alloy, I don't want an aluminum tripod.

Not a single one, according to B&H.

And I would bet that any tripod you may have seen advertised as being a magnesium alloy is actually an aluminum alloy with magnesium as the main alloying ingredient. 6061, to name one common one...

If I had to guess, I would say that most tripods are 7075 aluminum, which is an aluminum/zinc alloy.
