WTB: Tamron 28-75 f/2.8D - Nikon

If anyone is willing to part with the older Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 D version (the one without a built in focus motor) I might be interested. Let me know.

Have you ever used one of these? It's not a bad lens for the price... but they are LOUD when focusing! At least the one I had was. Got rid of it a while back. I wasn't that impressed.

Ah, noise don't bother me much. I had loud lenses before and the amount of time I'll use it, not a big deal.

I'm not expecting Nikon 24-70 2.8 quality, but from what I've been seeing, its better than the 24-120 f/4 I own, now that's a lens I'm not impressed with. I can't even sell it for $500 lol.

I already bought a good copy from another photographer, I'll have it Monday. So we'll see, I think it will be good enough for what I want.
