As some already know, I just came back from a short trip to Germany.

I managed to steal some time to snap some shots and shoot some snaps...
1. The Residenz, home of the infamous Prince-Bishops of Würzburg.

2. The backyard.

3. The garden gnomes

great shots btw i really like the steps one.

Ah, what memories this brings back. When I traveled to Germany when I was in high school, I stayed in a youth hostel right behind the yellow church on the left hand side of photo #5.

Believe it or not: I am German, have lived in Germany all my life, without any "interruptions" abroad ever, and ... have never been to Würzburg  . I don't know this place at all!

So thank you for taking and posting these photos, Sergio!
And thank you MOST for the GREEN!!! :hugs:

Thanks, I didn't go inside this time, it's really impressing also.

Yes I agree the staircase is also my fav,In no 2 the horizon is slightly tilting.

Thanks. I know what you mean, I also thought so, tried to level it and everything looked strange. After reviewing again, I honestly think it's level. Since the base of the building is not perpendicular to the lens, the perspective makes it look tilted. If you notice, the right side of the building looks taller than the left for the same reason.

Nice place to stay, no boubt.

Well, as you can see it's quite nice and green :D If you ever visit, I'd recommend visiting Sommerhousen, a small town south of the city, where some small wineries are located. Very beautiful and peaceful...

So thank you for taking and posting these photos, Sergio!
