Hi there, nice forum

about me:

I got into photography at the age of 10 when my mom bought me a
little fuji compact.
it was a super simple thingy but i ended up using it off and on for
about 20 years taking vacation pics and such.
never got into it to deeply but after having lots of fun with the digital
cams ive had over the last 4 years (olympus C-160 / D-395 and later a
fuji S5600) and now i have just bought a fuji s9600.

so much has changed in the last few years that im amazed at the technology i can now controll myself on a minimal budget.
no more waiting for film to be developed to see if i got the pic
i wanted etc, freaking awsome!

so now i have decided to pursue this more seriously as a hobby
and try to lern more about it etc.
and offcourse theres nothing like a good forum when it comes to sharing
your interestest, and this does look like a nice one.
