YAY! Finally!

hoooray! so my Canon 350d/Rebel XT is arriving on thuesday! It comes with the kit lens at the beginning and with Sandisk 1 GB memory card!!! YAY for me and my new boyfriend

So I have a couple of questions to the owners of this Canon...
1. How many pics you can store on 1 GB card (jpegs or RAW)
2. How long lasts the battery 9more less how many pics you can take with it)
3. Tips and tricks to the usage are welcomed!!!

On a 1 gig card I usually get around 270 - 330 high res jpegs or around 130 RAW files with my rebel XT

My battery lasts around 3000 shots I guess

What kind of tips would you like? How to handle, different features etc?

Next step I guess is lenses!

yep I mean...`what resolution you shoot at, and flash... is it strong or you need to go down a few steps... more about long exposures - noise at something around 5 minutes and so on...
