We finally got some studio lights!! I'm so excited! My buddy that used to be the team photographer for the hockey team I now work with had a bunch of his old studio equipment lying around in boxes, so I bought it off of him. Got 3 Novatron strobes, 500w powerpack, some smith-victor lighs, backdrops, an ancient (but still working) radio transmitter, etc. Most of the backdrops were too mildewed to use, but the portable backdrop stand was still in primo shape. Here's one of the first shots with a single 250w flash.

Nice subtle classic lighting. Model is also nice :).
The only thing i can see (and your histogram confirm this) is that your highlights could be a little bit stronger.

Really? Seems right on to me.

Very nice. In fact, most all of the images on your blog are very nice.
