    Hi! I'm Sarah from TEXAS! Ima noob at this stuff hehe!

    I took this shot in my backyard about a year ago...never really got my work out on the internet, except for myspace lol. but I just wanted to see what people thought and maybe some tips? :D but yeah, it's a yellow jacket, i believe, building a nest.

    Not too bad. The whole hornet should be in the shot, though, and maybe less of the other stuff. Focusing is hard in these types of shots, but making the insect more in focus would help.

    Also, that's not a yellow jacket, which is here:
