I think I would try to bring out the yellow a bit more

Here is me just playing around with the photo. I started out by doing a tighter crop then I brought the yellow out more and to finish it off I added a border...hope you didn't mind

thanks for the edits, i like the crop! i think white's looks better though, im not a fan of the super bright yellow

I might be crazy, but I think I like the original composition better than the crops. The flip flops already seem a bit lonely and abandoned, and I think the extra space just helps that out.
