this is a duck picture that i posted in the photo gallery, but i tried to make the duck stand out more...can you tell me if you think it works?

It definatly makes it stand out more... I would suggest making the background only halfway saturated instead of fully b&w. It might make it blend better.

I really do like this photo though! great job! :)
 
I think you are on the right track, I also like this one better than the full b&w background. Maybe try adding some blur to the background, you may even be able to keep the background in full color.
 
I agree with Big Mike, some photoshop lens blur would work nicely. nice shot!

i dont no what kind of animal it is :confused: it looks like a duck/goose...its goock

definately looks better blurred. Seem to have blurred the edges of the duck as well though. Still a really nice shot though
 
Big improvment I think, that is a nice looking Canadian goock :p
