yet another newbie with a D40.

Hello all,

I have been lurking here for about 2 months now as I was lucky enough to get a D40 for Christmas. I have taken several pics of my dogs and such, but nothing im brave enough to post yet . I have learned a lot just from the lurking i have done, as well as the good ol owners manuel. I hope to continue to learn and get advice from you guys, this is really a great site.
