Yet another service advisory for the Z8

Seems (as one did on my camera body), the lugs that hold the camera straps disengage from the body and oops, there goes your camera. Fortunately, I also attach my camera with a secondary strap to the "L" bracket which saved me four grand worth of body and three grand worth of lens. I am not sure they thought this camera out completely before releasing it to the public.

If yours was one of the ones recalled due to the lens mount, you are likely on the "bad" list. Sucks to be us.

Nikon acknowledges Z8 strap lug failures and offers repair

Nikon has acknowledged the stories of Z8 strap lug failure and said it will repair affected units.
