Got a new 50mm yesterday! This baby can almost see in the dark! I took this with only 1 tiny bulb on across the room. The DOF is so razor thin on this lens. From 1 ft away, only 1/2 inch is in focus! Not very forgiving.. no wonder many find this lens to be soft..

Would that be the 50mm 1.4 in your sig?

Yeah, they are not the most forgiving lens....but they are very rewarding.

Hehe... thanks! Funny, I have all these L lenses, but I find that this 50mm is more fun to use than any of the others!

My 50mm is rarely off of my camera. Not that I have a large selection of lenses, but still.

I never want to take mine off. Even if the subject is too far away, too bad!
