Yongnuo 560-111 and Nikon P7100

Can anyone please tell me if the Yongnuo 560-111 sppeedlite is compatible with the Nikon P7100? Works well with my DSLR but can't get it to work with the Nikon.

it will work, but it's a manual flash.

I bet you mean Nikon D7100.
Since the 560 III is a manual flash (no TTL functions) it should work fine on your D7100 and on any other standard camera hot shoe.

I don't see any reason it won't work with the P7100

I just read this thread after a quick search,

A bit of playing and I can answer my own question - setting Flash Mode to auto might work with a dedicated Speedlight but for a non-dedicated unit you have to set the internal flash to "Off".

Ah! I see Nikon has a new Coolpix P7100, but it has a standard ISO 518:2006 hot shoe.
