    On my early morning walk today, as I came around the corner I was met by this lovely Doe, who bolted at the thundering roar of the 20D ( not made for discreet shooting)

    Wow, for being surprised, you sure managed to get a great shot! I would be soooo tickled pink to come across a doe while walking.

    Ever heard a 1D mkII at 8.5 FPS?? Sounds like the big gun Arnie uses in The Terminator films

    You lucky one!!!!
    You get these this close IN THE WILD! AND you know how to then photograph them RIGHT!
    The only time I ever meet deer this close is either in a wildlife park (on Monday) or with my car :( (after which they are no longer this pretty :cry: )...
