Your experience with Wedding Fairs

I've been considering lately to put up a stand in a local wedding show. Does anyone have experience on large or small wedding fairs?

It is a big investment and I'm worried about how easy it is to see that money back. Also, what are some tips on display and the sales aspect of it - how do I get that bride to sign up and place deposit?

I've only dont one fair, but I thought it was a success. I booked 4 weddings from that day, with one putting $$ down at the time. I kept my display simple and inviting, bringing a fireplace and a couch where I could sit and chat with the clients.

I've never done a wedding fair yet, but I hear they can be a big flop or book up your year. I'm considering doing one.
