I want to know how relative newbies find old threads and ressurect them.

I'm not much of a forum slut and don't get around to many other forums... So I'm not really a newbie anywhere anymore.

But how... and why does this strange phenomenon occur?!

Like the latest one I've seen is the Coffee Adicts thread bump up again. Why search for coffee,,, on a photo forum....?

Well for me, when I search for something many times there are completely unrelated threads that show up. Simply because the conversation had my search word in it. When I'm looking for whatever it is I'm looking for many times I find a thread title that looks interesting, so I read it. Naturally there are things you want to reply to reading them.

It's really very simple...
